Banca delle Marche

Banca Marche is the parent company of Banca Marche Holding, which includes Carilo-Cassa di Risparmio di Loreto S.p.A., Focus Gestioni S.G.R. S.p.A. an asset management company and Medioleasing S.p.A, a company created in 2005 and specialised in leasing.

Banca delle Marche SpA was set up in the 1994 -  1995 period by merging three former Saving Banks, Cassa di Risparmio di Macerata, Pesaro and Jesi.

Three main shareholders (Fondazioni Cassa di Risparmio della Provincia di Macerata, Cassa di Risparmio di Pesaro and Cassa di Risparmio di Jesi) together own 55,8% of share capital;  Gruppo Intesa Sanpaolo owns 5,84% and Fondazione Carifano has 3,35%. A considerable percentage, round 32,1%, of share capital is held by over 40.000 small shareholders, most of them customers of the Bank, who by investing their own savings, contributed to the Bank privatisation process in the 1990s.

The commercial network is made by over 300 branches located in the Marche region and in other areas of Central Italy: Umbria, Emilia Romagna, Lazio, Abruzzo and Molise. The Bank employs some 3.000.people.
