Banca Marche is a joint-stock company resulting from two consecutive mergers: the first, ratified on November 1,1994, of Banca Carima S.p.A. (or Cassa di Risparmio della Provincia di Macerata, dating back to 1841) and Cassa di Risparmio di Pesaro S.p.A. (established in 1841); the second, ratified on December 31, 1995, with Cassa di Risparmio di Jesi S.p.A. (established in 1844).

Today, Banca Marche is the parent company of the homonymous banking group, which includes Carilo S.p.A., Medioleasing S.p.A., Focus Gestioni S.G.R. S.p.A. and Banca delle Marche Gestione Internazionale Lux SA.
With approximately 28,000 shareholders and a share capital of 552,661,881.72 euro, Banca Marche is one of the major banks in Central Italy, with about 300 branches located in the regions of Marche, Latium, Umbria, Emilia-Romagna, Abruzzo and Molise and some 3,000 employees.

Since inception, the main mission of Banca Marche has been that of becoming "the" Bank of the Marche Region, leader in its field and a banking hub for the business community operating within and outside the region.
Banca Marche implemented an important stage in its strategic plan, which will enable it to strengthen its leadership position in regional credit and, at the same time, extend its geographical coverage of the territory and increase the market outlets for its products.
Banca Marche now plans to widen its presence in its original area, as well as opening new branches in other regions of Central Italy, constantly broadening the array of services and exploiting the latest and innovative technologies.
